Approximately 100 participants attended the 2nd EMIF Colloquium, a single day meeting, supported by EMIF, IMI, EFPIA and Janssen, in the historic Gerbeaud Café in central Budapest to listen to, and discuss with an internationally renowned speaker line up on the application of real world data for the development and market access of new therapeutic agents.

Speakers from around Europe, in academia, regulatory and payer, industry and bioinformatics arenas explored the different opportunities and challenges with such major themes as the need for collaboration, mapping disease trajectories, linked data and bio-banks, new platforms for trial design and recruitment, innovation in data capture and use in payer organisations, real world studies and adaptive licensing, to name a few.
